The POWER of the PIVOT

This is a virtual summit dedicated to supporting Black Women who are seeking to make their pivot out of toxic work environments or jobs that are no longer serving them and embark on a journey of replacing their income and healing from the aftermath. We will provide resources and practical strategies on how to powerfully pivot to another job, entrepreneurship, or early retirement.

This summit is designed exclusively for Black Women who are looking to make their pivot, either from a toxic work environment or a job that is just no longer serving them. If you are looking for guidance, support, and resources to navigate leaving a job and/or healing from workplace harm, this summit is for you.

By attending this summit, you can expect to gain valuable insights, strategies, and tools to help you successfully make your pivot, recognize toxic workplace environments, navigate the process of leaving environments that are no longer serving you, and embark on a journey of healing and self-reclamation.

Absolutely no participant faces will be shown during the summit, as participant cameras are not allowed. If you would like to change your name within the HeySummit platform, please click on the person icon in the upper right corner, click on "Edit Profile," and from there, you can easily edit your name to one of your choosing.

We have intentionally curated a lineup of Black Women speakers and presenters who have demonstrated expertise in areas such as creating multiple income streams, mental health, career development and holistic wellness. Our speakers include experienced professionals, coaches, and advocates who are dedicated to supporting Black Women on their journeys to leaving and healing from jobs that are no longer serving them.

The summit sessions will be conducted virtually on the HeySummit platform, allowing attendees to participate from the comfort of their own homes. Speaker sessions include a presentation and a Q&A session with the speakers.

Early registration prices last from Monday, March 24th through Tuesday, April 15th, 2025. Prices will increase to standard pricing beginning Wednesday, April 16th.

Yes, all summit sessions will be recorded for later viewing. Attendees who purchased the Liberation Standard Pass will have access to session replays through Wednesday, May 21st.

Attendees who purchased the Freedom All-Access Pass will have access to the session replays for one year - until May 15, 2026. This allows attendees to revisit the sessions they found particularly valuable or catch up on sessions they may have missed during the live summit.

Pivoting Jobs for Black Women 50+ with Janice Sutherland – This session will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at 7pm ET/4pm PT on Zoom, hosted by Executive Coach for Mature Women Professionals, Janice Sutherland, designed to support Black Women over 50 in navigating career transitions with confidence. Whether you're looking to pivot industries, step into entrepreneurship, or redefine your career path on your own terms, this masterclass will provide strategies, mindset shifts, and actionable steps to help you successfully make the transition.
3. Strategies to Help You Protect Your Career with Jacquie Abram – This session will be held on Wednesday, May 21st at 7pm ET/4pm PT on Zoom, hosted by Jacquie Abram, Best-Selling Author and Consultant, renowned for her work in protecting careers from workplace discrimination and toxicity. Designed to empower Black Women navigating challenging work environments, this masterclass will provide proven strategies, actionable insights, and practical steps to help you safeguard your career, advocate for yourself effectively, and protect your professional future. Whether you're dealing with microaggressions, workplace bias, or seeking to proactively defend your career, this session will equip you with the tools to navigate these challenges with confidence.

All three BONUS Masterclasses are included in your Freedom All-Access Pass, ensuring you have the financial and career guidance needed to make empowered moves toward your next chapter.

These sessions will take place on Zoom, not the HeySummit platform. The Zoom links will be emailed to you.

Yes, by participating in the live chats during the sessions, attendees can connect with each other. We will also share a way to communicate with fellow attendees after the summit.

Refunds can be requested until the day before the summit kickoff (11:59PM EDT on Thursday, May 15th, 2025).

Due to the nature of this event, no refunds will be issued after this date.
